• You get a cool author’s bio ;D
• You are able to attach this work experience on your resume

If you are a future applicant, know that even though Cripple is geared towards young people with disabilities and the call-out culture of ableism, submissions and contributions from artists and writers can be professional pieces about any topic you want. They can be pieces about politics, news, TV shows, or even pieces about the latest drama going on in Youtube.
To apply for any position, you must be at least thirteen years old. Additionally, all applications are rolling, meaning that we take applications all year. Regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, or location, applications are open. We take contributors from all over the world!
Furthermore, Cripple welcomes and encourages all experiences of disability, whether that be physical, invisible, and/or etc, to apply. You also do not have to be out or identify as disabled to be a part of the Cripple Media community, we just want you to have the mic.
So apply today! Be a trailblazer in the world and make your voice heard. Connect with other teens like you, and make life-lasting friendships. At Cripple Media, our mission is to uplift the voices of disabled youth and put them in the spotlight of mainstream media. We want to shift the lens in which young disabled people are viewed in – to something more honest, witty, fun, and sharp. However, we cannot spread this message alone. We have to do it with you!
