My name is Calum and i am a 28 year old T12 incomplete walking paraplegic/ ex wheelchair user, with a TBI and polly-trauma. I am an artist, musician, skateboarder, writer, creative with a first class honours degree in world literature and a background in addiction and mental health services. I am passionate about spinal cord injury recovery and the enigma of the central nervous system.

Counting sheep to fall asleep,

In dismay, unable to slip away.

Thoughts upon gestures of

The sheep keep clambering

At slumbers bay.

The bleating echo’s lay

Ephemeral, yet they stay.

Dreamless sleep in waking day.

The inner voice ‘Not I!’,

I pray.
